Former national team captain and all-rounder Shahid Afridi has joined Quetta Gladiators in the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League. He had earlier played for Multan Sultans. James Venus, who represented Multan Sultans in PSL, also joined Quetta Gladiators.

On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators released Azam Khan and included Iftikhar Ahmed from Islamabad United in the team. They said that the decision to leave Islamabad United was difficult but they have made this decision considering the future of cricket.

Former captain Shahid Afridi said that he is happy to join Quetta Gladiators. Remember that Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7 will start in January. According to Pakistan Cricket Board, 15 matches of the event will be played in Karachi while 19 matches will be played in Lahore and the opening match of the event will be played between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings.

Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi will compete in the final match of the league. The final of the event will be played on February 27. The PSL Season 7 qualifiers will be played on February 23. While the first and second elements will be played on February 24 and 25, respectively.
