Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam has completed 3000 runs in Test cricket. Babar Azam scored 55 runs in the second innings of the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle. During this time, he completed 3000 runs in Test cricket.

Babar Azam crossed this milestone in the 41st Test match. Babar Azam made his Test debut against West Indies in October 2016. Former captain Javed Miandad completed 3000 runs in his 39th Test match 40 years ago and completed 3000 runs by playing fewer Test matches for Pakistan.
