Ben Cutting and Sohail Tanveer fined for violating the code of conduct | PSL 7

Ben Cutting of Peshawar Zalmi and Sohail Tanveer of Quetta Gladiators was fined 15% of the match fee for violating the code of conduct in the 22nd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), both the players have been found violating Article 2.6 of the PSL Code of Conduct for making inappropriate gestures during the match.

Ben Cutting hit Sohail Tanveer with three sixes in a row against the previous Gladiators. In response, Sohail made the same gesture after catching Ben Cutting off Naseem Shah’s ball on the first ball of the last over of the same innings. Match referee Ali Naqvi says there is no place for such inappropriate gestures. All players need to understand their on and off-field responsibilities.
