Ben Cutting and Sohail Tanveer was fined for rules violation
Ben Cutting hit Sohail Tanveer with three sixes in a row against the previous Gladiators. In response, Sohail made the same gesture after catching Ben Cutting off Naseem Shah’s ball on the first ball of the last over of the same innings. Match referee Ali Naqvi says there is no place for such inappropriate gestures. All players need to understand their on and off-field responsibilities.
All these players are role models for the new generation and their attitude sends the wrong message to the younger generation. Both had bitter words during the match yesterday. He said that the best matches are going on during PSL 7 but during this time the players need to take full care of the spirit of cricket. Both players admitted their mistake and accepted the fine imposed by match referee Ali Naqvi.
