Chairman Cricket Board of India (BCCI) Saro Ganguly has contracted the coronavirus. According to Indian media reports, the former cricketer and chairman of the BCCI underwent a coronavirus test on Monday night, the results of which came out on Tuesday morning. Still, before the test results came out, the former Indian captain was shifted to a hospital in Kolkata.

According to Indian media, former cricketer Saro Ganguly is constantly traveling due to his professional responsibilities and being vaccinated. On the other hand, hospital sources said that minor symptoms of corona had been found in Saro Ganguly. It may be recalled that earlier this year, in January 2021, Saro Ganguly had a heart attack, due to which he was shifted to the hospital, where he underwent angioplasty.
