Pakistan’s leading e-commerce platform ‘Daraz’ has been the highest bidder for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 2022 and 2023 live streaming rights. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Draz has bid 175% more than the previous cycle to purchase the league’s live streaming rights. Earlier, a consortium of ARY and PTV had bid 50% more than the previous cycle for the broadcasting rights of Pakistan Super League season 2022 and 2023.

Salman Naseer, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the PCB, said that the league’s popularity could be gauged by increasing the bid for PSL’s live streaming rights. He said that live streaming is playing an essential role in developing and promoting sports in today’s digital age. He is confident that the subsequent two editions of the league will be full of action. It will entertain a large number of cricket fans. Daraz is grateful for this trust. Chief Executive Officer Daraz Ammar Hassan said that Pakistan Super League is proud to make the most significant offer to acquire live streaming rights. Daraz wants to be the number one digital platform in Pakistan.

Earlier, in the last season of PSL, the rights of live streaming were acquired by Daraz.
