Currently leading the bowling statistics for Karachi Kings with 13 wickets in six matches, fast bowler Hasan Ali is having an outstanding run in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). Karachi’s campaign depends much on the seasoned seamer, who lately ranks best among PSL history in wickets.
On Tuesday, Ali expressed delight with his performance thus far on the digital platform of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
“Contributing with wickets always feels fantastic, especially when it benefits the team,” Hasan added.
“I am happy with how things are going; I take great satisfaction in leading the bowling for Karachi Kings following six games,” he said.
Emphasizing the importance of taking consistent wickets for his side, the thirty-year-old also offered observations on his present form.
“I have concentrated on improving the fundamentals of my bowling; I have not changed anything drastically. I have worked hard on my diet and fitness, which has really improved this season.
Ali, vice-captain for Karachi Kings, has welcomed the extra responsibility and views it as an honor to be in the position.
“Being vice-captain of a franchise of size is an honor. Having David Warner around is really beneficial since his knowledge and leadership enable the younger players grow rapidly. Thank you the PCB for bringing him to the PSL,” he said.
Thinking back on a limited five-run loss to Quetta Gladiators, the right-arm pacer said the team might have relaxed too early.
Though we were under control, we treated the game casually. Momentum might change quite quickly in T20s, he said. Looking ahead, Hasan expects great public support for Karachi against rivals Lahore Qalandars on May 4.
We enjoy performing for large audiences. With great hope, supporters will show up in plenty and we will present a great concert.
