Under the auspices of the Punjab Sports Board and in collaboration with Rana Zaheer Hockey Academy, renowned hockey coach Roland Ultmans will train the players for 2 weeks. Director General Punjab Sports Javed Chauhan said that players from all divisions of Punjab have been selected on merit and children of Rana Zaheer Hockey Academy will also get training in the camp.

DG Sports said that the training camp will have two sessions daily on National Hockey Stadium Pitch 2, a morning session from 5 to 8:30 am and an evening session from 6 pm to 9 pm. He said that 60 players from Punjab would participate in the camp. Hockey is our national sport and they are taking all possible steps for its development. DG Sports Punjab said that coach Roland Ultmans has been a world-renowned coach of India and Malaysia including the Netherlands and his coaching would be of great benefit to the players.
