Playing first, New Zealand scored 260 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. For New Zealand, Amy Satrawite was the standout batsman with 75 runs, Emily Kerr 500, wicketkeeper Katie Martin 41 while captain Sophie Devon scored 35 runs.

For India, Pooja Wistracker took four wickets while bowling destructively, Rajeshwari Gaikwad took two wickets while Jhulan Goswami and Deputy Sharma took 1.1 wickets each. In pursuit of the target, the Indian team was all out for 198 runs in the 47th over. Harmanpreet Kaur was the top scorer for India with 71 runs, captain Mithali Raj 31, Istika Bhatia 28 and Sneha Rana 18 runs.

Tahoe and Amelia Kerr took 3.3 wickets each for the hosts, Haley Jensen 2 while Jess Kerr and Hannah Rowe took 1.1 wickets each. New Zealand’s Amy Citroet was named Man of the Match for his 75-run innings.
