India beat arch-rivals Pakistan in a thrilling game for the third position in Bangladesh’s ongoing Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. Afraz and Rana scored for Pakistan while Manpreet Singh led his team from India.

In contrast, in the first semi-final, Korea defeated Pakistan 5-6 to reach the event’s final. Pakistan and India competed for the third position. India had beaten Pakistan 1-3 in the league round of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. Junaid Manzoor scored the only goal of the match.
