Mohammad Hasnain included in national squad for Asia T20 Cup 2022

Mohammad Hasnain has been included in the national squad for the Asia T20 Cup held in the United Arab Emirates this month in place of Shaheen Shah. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, Mohammad Hasnain will replace Shaheen Shah Afridi in the Pakistan squad for the ACCT Twenty20 Cup to be played in the United Arab Emirates. Hasnain is currently representing Oval Invincibles at The Hundred event in the UK. 22-year-old Hasnain has represented Pakistan in 18 T20 international matches in which he has taken 17 wickets.

The captain of Pakistan team for ACCT Twenty Cup is Babar Azam while vice captain is Shadab Khan, besides Asif Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Muhammad Hasnain, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Naseem Shah, Shahnawaz Durmani and Usman Qadir are part of the squad. Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed and Usman Qadir will leave for Dubai on Tuesday morning while the rest of the players will arrive in the UAE from the Netherlands. Pakistan will play its first match against arch-rivals India on August 28 in Asia’s biggest cricket event, which runs from August 27 to September 11.

Fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain bowling action report has been sent to Cricket Australia. The bowling action report would be announced by Cricket Australia.
