The PCB said in a statement that the Sri Lanka Cricket Board had requested that the Lincoln Premier League be held first, so the ODI series be postponed. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that Sri Lanka’s financial affairs are also not good, so the request of the Sri Lankan Board has been approved in view of the situation. The PCB further said that despite the postponement of the ODI series, the pre-scheduled Test series between the two countries would be held on time.

The Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played from July 5 to August 9 in which both the teams will play 3 Test matches. It should be noted that a series consisting of 3 ODIs was to be played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka but this series was not part of the World Super League.
