ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies shifted from Rawalpindi to Multan

The ODI series between Pakistan and WI has been shifted from Rawalpindi to Multan. Pakistan Cricket Board has informed the broadcasters about setting up a broadcast in Multan. A spokesman for the PCB said that the government had allowed the matches to be shifted in view of the current situation in Rawalpindi. The PCB has directed the broadcasters to reach Multan by June 4. The Punjab government has assured strict security to both teams.

The Pakistan Cricket Board last week announced a 16-member national squad for the series against the West Indies. The national team squad includes 3 openers, 3 middle-order batsmen, 2 wicket-keepers, 3 spinners, and 5 fast bowlers. The squad includes captain Babar Azam, vice-captain Shadab Khan, and Muhammad Rizwan. Abdullah Shafiq, Fakhruzzaman, Haris Rauf, Hassan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Imam-ul-Haq are also part of the squad. Khushdal Shah, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani, and Zahid Mahmood are also in the squad.
