Pakistan created history by defeating India by 13 runs in the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup in Bangladesh. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat. Both Pakistan openers returned to the pavilion by the 5th over. Captain Bisma Maruf played an innings of 32 runs. Nida Dar remains the star player for Pakistan. He scored 56 runs off 37 balls and remained not out. On behalf of India, Deepiti Sharma took 3 wickets by giving 27 runs.

Nida Dar was awarded the Player of the Match award for Pakistan‘s outstanding all-round performance. Pakistan beat India’s women’s team for the first time since 2016 in an international cricket match. This is Pakistan’s first victory against India in the Women’s Asia Cup.
