In the 74 kg category, national wrestler Sharif Tahir won the silver medal, but in the final match, he was defeated by Indian wrestler Naveen.

Ali Asad of Pakistan won the bronze medal in the 57 kg category of wrestling, he defeated Suraj Singh of New Zealand in the bronze medal match. Pakistan’s medal tally in the Commonwealth Games has reached seven, earlier in the 65 kg category wrestler Inayatullah won the bronze medal, defeating the Scottish wrestler in the match by a huge margin of 0-10. Noah Butt won gold in weightlifting while Shah Hussain Shah won bronze in judo, while Zaman Anwar won silver in the men’s freestyle 125 kg event.
