PCB released schedule of New Zealand cricket team’s tour of Pakistan

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the schedule of the New Zealand cricket team’s tour of Pakistan, under which the Kiwis team will come to Pakistan in 2 different stages. According to the statement released by the Pakistan Cricket Board, the New Zealand team will play 2 Tests, 8 ODIs and 5 T20 International matches in Pakistan. The first 2 Tests and 3 ODIs between the two teams are part of the Future Tours programme, while the other 10 matches were included in the series which was postponed in September last year.

In the first leg of the series between Pakistan and New Zealand, 2 Test matches and 3 ODIs will be played. The first Test match of the series will be played from December 27 to 31 in Karachi, while the second one will be played in Multan from January 4 to 8. The 3 ODI matches included in the first phase will be part of the ICC Super League. All three matches will be played on January 11, 13 and 15 in Karachi.

In the second leg of the New Zealand tour, 5 ODIs and 5 T20 International matches will be played from April 13 to May 7. According to the schedule, 5 T20 series will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand. Out of which 4 will be in Karachi and one in Lahore. The T20I matches will be played in Karachi on April 13, 15, 16 and 19, while the fifth T20I and the opening 2 ODI matches will be held in Lahore on April 23.

The last 5 matches of the 8 ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand will not be part of the ICC Super League. The two teams will face off in Lahore on April 26 and 28, while the last 3 ODIs will be played in Rawalpindi on May 1, 4 and 7.
