Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars in Super Over | PSL 7

In the last group match of Pakistan Super League 7, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars in Super Over. Lahore Qalandars had tied the match by scoring 158 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. In the last group match of Pakistan Super League 7, Peshawar Zalmi gave Lahore Qalandars a target of 159 runs to win. However, in the last over, the Lahore team needed 24 runs to win when Shaheen Shah Afridi scored 23 runs and tied the match. He hit 3 sixes and a four while one was run wide.

Batting first, Lahore Qalandars scored just 5 runs in the super over. Peshawar Zalmi got a target of 6 runs for victory which they completed on just 2 balls. Earlier in the allotted 20 overs, Lahore Qalandars scored 158 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Muhammad Hafeez remained the top scorer with 49 runs. Shaheen Shah Afridi played an unbeaten inning of 39 runs. Kamran Ghulam scored 25 and Sohail Akhtar Scored 19 runs.

Peshawar Zalmi defeated Lahore Qalandars

For Peshawar Zalmi, Arshad Iqbal and Wahab Riaz took two wickets each while Shoaib Malik, Khalid Usman, Muhammad Omar, and Emad Butt took one wicket each. The final four teams of Pakistan Super League 7 include Multan Sultans, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, and Islamabad United. In the first qualifier of PSL 7, Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars will meet on February 23. The winning team will reach the final directly while the losing team will get one more chance.
