Former national cricket team captain Rashid Latif has been appointed Director of Operations of the Kashmir Premier League. Kashmir Premier League President Arif Malik has officially announced the appointment of Rashid Latif as the league’s director of operations. In this regard, Rashid Latif said that the successful Kashmir Premier League was also held last year and they are always ready to improve cricket in Azad Kashmir.

The former captain said that there are many talented young players in Pakistan and Kashmir, and young talent will be included in KPL. Wicketkeeper-batsman Rashid Latif, who has played 37 Tests and 166 ODIs, has the honor of introducing a number of players, including Younis Khan, the only batsman to score 10,000 runs for Pakistan in the Test format. Rashid Latif has also coached the Afghan national cricket team.
