Schedule of Australia tour to Pakistan | Updated schedule of the series

After 24 years of Australia, the Schedule of the Australia tour of Pakistan has been changed. The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that the three-match Test series will start from Rawalpindi. The second Test of the series will be played in Karachi while the third Test will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The visiting team will start its tour of Pakistan by playing the first Test match in Rawalpindi from March 4 to 8, while the four white-ball matches in the series will be played in Rawalpindi instead of Lahore.

The second Test of the series will be played in Karachi from March 12 to 16 while the third Test will be played in Lahore from March 21 to 25. The PCB said that the venues for the matches have been changed keeping in view the Pakistan Day rehearsals and logistical resources. The two boards agreed that the guest side would arrive in Islamabad on March 27 on a chartered flight. Where they would be allowed to train at the Pindi Cricket Stadium after completing the isolation.

The players selected in the Australian squad for the White Ball Series will arrive in Pakistan on March 24. All of these players will be able to meet other members of the squad after completing their isolation. The first match of the ODI series between the two teams will be played on March 29. All three Test matches in the series are part of the ICC World Test Championship, while all ODIs are part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
