15-member squad of the national women’s cricket team for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022

The 15-member squad of the national women’s cricket team for the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022 to be held in New Zealand has been announced in which Bismillah Maroof has returned.

Bisma Maroof has returned to the national cricket team after two years and will lead the national women’s cricket team in the World Cup. While Nida Dar has been appointed vice-captain for the World Cup. Nahida Khan and Ghulam Fatima have returned to the squad while Kainat Imtiaz and Sadia Iqbal could not be part of the squad due to injuries.

Squad

Bisma Maroof (Captain), Nida Dar (Vice-Captain), Aiman Anwar, Aliya Riaz, Anam Ameen, Diana Baig, Fatima Sana, Ghulam Fatima, Javariya Khan, Muneeba Ali, Nahida Khan, Nashra Sindhu, Umaima Sohail, Sidra Amin, and Sidra Nawaz (wicket-keeper) is part of the squad.

15-member squad

Iram Javed, Toba Hassan, and wicketkeeper Najia Alvi will travel with the squad as traveling reserves. Team Manager Ayesha Jalil, Head Coach David Hemp, Assistant Coach Arshad Khan, Assistant Coach Kamran Hussain and Strength and Conditioning Coach Saboor Ahmed will be part of the team management. Video analyst Zubair Ahmed, media and digital content manager Ahsan Iftikhar Nagy, and physiotherapist Rifat Gul are also part of the sports staff.
