In the second phase of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Multan Sultans gave Peshawar Zalmi a target of 183 runs to win. In the match being played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Peshawar Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bat first.<\/p>\n
Multan Sultans scored 182 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Shan Masood remained prominent by scoring 68 runs off 49 balls. Multan Sultans’ innings got off to a great start with opener Shan Masood and captain Mohammad Rizwan<\/a> forming a 98-run partnership, but Rizwan was dismissed for 34 off 34 balls. The second loss to Multan was in the form of Shan. He returned to the pavilion with 68 runs on a total score of 131.<\/p>\n
