In the Super 12 stage of the T20 World Cup in Perth, Australia, Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan. A change has been made in the national team, fast bowler Muhammad Wasim Jr has been included in the national playing XI in place of Asif Ali. Other players in the team include captain Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan Jr., Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Haider Ali, Shadab Khan, Muhammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf.  Pakistan has lost its first match against India in the mega event, Pakistan needs to win by a big margin to qualify for the semi-finals.
