Arshad Nadeem won gold medal in the javelin throw | Commonwealth Games

Malik Taimur Khan said that the entire nation is proud of Arshad Nadeem, they have given him sports facilities before, and will continue to provide all possible facilities, the Provincial Sports Board will continue to take vigorous measures for the promotion of sports. Arshad Nadeem won gold

In the javelin throw final at the Commonwealth Games, Arshad Nadeem threw 86.81 meters in his first attempt. Arshad’s second turn was lost due to a foul. In the third attempt, Arshad Nadeem made a record eighty-eight-meter throw. In the fourth attempt, Arshad Nadeem threw eighty-five zero nine meters while in the fifth over he made a record ninety-one eight meter throw and made the record for the longest throw in the Commonwealth. Arshad Nadeem is the first athlete from Pakistan to win a gold medal in javelin throw events. He also held the record for the longest javelin throw by any athlete in Asia in the javelin event.
