The team will be accompanied by Olympian Manager Khawaja Junaid, Head Coach Ekman, Coach Wasim Ahmed, and other officials. Pakistan has to play matches against India, Japan, and Indonesia in its pool. Chief selector National Hockey Team Manzoor Jr. expects the best performance from the national hockey team in Jakarta. He said that the announced team consists of the best players and is capable of defeating any team including India. Manzoor Jr. said that we can qualify for the World Cup by winning one match against India and Japan.
