18-member national Test squad announced for Sri Lanka Tour 2022-23

An 18-member national Test squad has been announced for the tour of Sri Lanka. The national squad for next month’s two-Test series against Sri Lanka has been announced. The squad includes three spinners, four middle-order batsmen, three all-rounders, two wicket-keepers, two spinners and four fast bowlers. Muhammad Nawaz, Yasir Shah and Salman Ali have returned to the national team.

The squad includes captain Babar Azam, vice-captain Mohammad Rizwan, Abdullah Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam, Haris Rauf, Hassan Ali, Imamul Haq, and Mohammad Nawaz, Naseem Shah, Noman Ali, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfraz Ahmed, Saud Shakeel, Shaheen Shah. Afridi, Shaun Masood, Yasir Shah, and Fahim Ashraf.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play two matches in the ICC World Test Championship. The first Test of the series will be played in Galle from July 16 to 20, while the second will be played in Colombo from July 24 to 28. The national test squad will leave for Sri Lanka on July 6, followed by a training camp in Rawalpindi from June 26.
