Afghan cricketers might leave PSL for playing series against Bangladesh

Afghan players are likely to leave the league before the start of the second phase of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). According to media reports, Afghan cricketers participating in the PSL have to play a series against Bangladesh for the 2023 World Cup qualifying round.

ACB might summon Afghan cricketers from PSL

The three-match ODI and two-T20 series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan will be played at the Zahoor Ahmed Chaudhry Stadium in Chittagong from February 23. If the board summons the Afghan cricketers participating in the PSL, then Lahore Qalandars may lose the services of Rashid Khan, Karachi Kings Muhammad Nabi, Peshawar Zalmi Hazratullah Zazai, and United Rehmanullah Gurbaz.

On the other hand, a seven-day training camp is also expected to be held before the commencement of the ODI series while the second phase of PSL will start from February 10 in Lahore.
