Australian cricket team received threatening message from India to stop resumption of international cricket in Pakistan

The Australian cricket team has received a threatening message from India to stop the resumption of international cricket in Pakistan. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, Cricket Australia is fully aware of a post on social media. Cricket boards of both the countries and security agencies on both sides have investigated the post.

On the other hand, the Australian Board said in a statement that Australia Cricket Board is aware of the post on social media and its nature and content have been investigated by the Pakistan Cricket Board, Cricket Australia, and government agencies of both countries. A Cricket Australia spokesman added that a comprehensive security plan had been put in place to prevent such activities on social media and that the social media message was not considered dangerous.

It may be recalled that threatening messages were sent to the Australian cricket team by India. Maradil Tewari, a resident of the Indian state of Gujarat, was involved in sending messages from an Instagram fake account. It should be noted that the Australian cricket team has come to Pakistan after 24 years and it has been provided the security that is usually given to the heads of state.
