The seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will start today. In the opening match, Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans will face each other. Here is the list of the top 5 bowlers in PSL 7.

Wahab Riaz

Peshawar Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz is the highest wicket-taker in the history of the tournament, having played 67 matches in the last six editions and has taken a total of 94 wickets. In his PSL career, Wahab Riaz has bowled just two maiden overs with an average of 7.38. The fast bowler’s best bowling is 4 for 17. Wahab Riaz needs just six wickets to become the first bowler to complete 100 wickets in the history of PSL.

Hassan Ali

Islamabad United’s star fast bowler Hassan Ali is second with 72 wickets in 55 matches. Representing Peshawar Zalmi last season, Hassan Ali made his PSL debut in 2016 while taking 72 wickets at an average of 7.33. He has 4 wickets for 17 of his best bowling.

Fahim Ashraf

Another star all-rounder of Islamabad United KK, Faheem Ashraf is third in the list with 55 wickets in just 39 matches. He made his PSL debut in 2018. The all-rounder also bowled a maiden over while his bowling average was 7.84. Fahim’s best bowling is 6 for 19.

Muhammad Nawaz

Quetta Gladiators all-rounder Muhammad Nawaz has 55 wickets in 61 matches. A member of the 2019 winning squad, he took wickets at an average of 7.17. His best bowling is 4 for 13.

Muhammad Amir

Karachi Kings fast bowler and speed star Mohammad Amir is at the fifth position in this list, he has taken only 59 wickets in 54 matches. The Kings fast bowler managed to take only 5 wickets in 11 matches last season.
