Muhammad Huraira fined 20% of match fee for violating the PCB Code of Conduct.

The nephew of Northern team batsman and former captain Shoaib Malik, Muhammad Huraira fined 20% of the match fee for violating the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Code of Conduct. During the day and night final of the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy at the National Stadium Karachi between Northern and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the incident took place.

Mohammad Huraira was found to violate Article 2 of the PCB Code of Conduct. On the second day of the day and night final in the 22nd over of Northern’s first innings. The umpire declared Muhammad Huraira an LBW out. But the young batsman left the crease late. Muhammad Huraira admitted his mistake and accepted the punishment suggested by match referee Nadeem Arshad. Mohammad Huraira has been fined by on-field umpires Asif Yaqub and Faisal Khan Afridi.
