The opening ceremony of the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was held at Karachi National Stadium the match will start at 8 pm. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s personal message will be broadcast in the ceremony while singers Atif Aslam and Aima Beg will sing the official song of the tournament. Six teams are participating in the seventh edition of PSL while a total of 34 matches will be played at National Stadium Karachi and Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

In the league matches played in Karachi, 25% of the spectators are allowed to enter the stadium while the number of spectators for the second phase of the scheduled event in Lahore will be decided later. The first phase of the event will be held at the National Stadium Karachi, where a total of 15 matches will be played. The 19 matches in the second phase will be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The latest ICC Playing Conditions apply to PSL 7.
The fielding side must complete 19 overs of the innings in a timely manner, otherwise, the team will have to spend 30 yards on the final over of the match. The condition of one player less standing outside the circle will apply. In addition, the corona test of at least 13 players of a team will not stop the match of that team.
