The Pakistan cricket board has started practical activities for holding Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 7. In Karachi, Rameez Raja held a meeting with representatives of the Sindh government, district administration officers, and police officials in which preparations for the seventh edition of PSL from January 27 were reviewed.

In the meeting chaired by Chairman PCB, IG Sindh Amir Sheikh and DIG Maqsood Memon, both present in the conference, briefed Rameez Raja about the flow of traffic and security near the stadium. Meeting the Sindh government officials is to provide full proof of security service to the players and franchisees to avoid any untoward incident. During his visit to Karachi, he also met Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and said that we would look for more talent in Sindh, and for that, we would promote cricket in rural areas.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Sindh said that I want to revive cricket in Hyderabad; Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad is the best, the only hotel is a problem. Besides, Murad Ali Shah informed the Chairman PCB that we are constructing a sports complex in Sukkur where two will also be cricket grounds, football, and other grounds. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that we want the technical team of PCB to visit Sukkur Sports Complex. We will further improve Sukkur Ground under the guidance of PCB. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah further said that if the Sindh team is included in PSL, we are ready to sponsor the Sindh team.
