Pakistan Cricket Board has taken an important step for the future of young players. The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the PCB Engro Pathways program was held at the National Stadium on Wednesday. Board Chairman Rameez Raja and Engroke SM Zafar signed the MoU.

Under the program, Engro will bear the cost of coaching high performing coaches for young cricketers, BRB Group will directly sponsor junior cricketers who will get free education opportunities with Rs. 30,000 per month. Thanking the sponsors, the PCB chairman said that maintaining my chairmanship depended on the success of the Pathway Cricket Program, which would help shape the future of Pakistan cricket.
“I have personally taken a keen interest in this project. One of our major goals is to invest in pathway cricket so that our future cricketers can get the best training, grooming, education, and financial support,” he said.
“We will now focus on developing their cricket, education, and basic life skills through this 3-year program,” the PCB chairman said.

Rameez Raja also said that I am happy with the progress we have made in a short span of time, we have identified talented players who are from early to teenagers and are the future of Pakistan cricket.
