In pursuit of the target, the Pakistan team also faced severe difficulties. Opener Moaz Ahmed Sadaqat remained prominent by scoring 14 runs, while captain Haseebullah was dismissed for 11 runs. Abdul Wahid 9, Mohammad Irfan Khan 4, Rizwan Mehmood Syed 2, while Qasim Khan and Mohammad Shehzad lost their wickets without scoring a run.
Pakistani bowlers showed exceptional performance, and in just 24 overs, the Afghan cricket team piled up 52 runs. Nangialaya Khan was the only batsman from Afghanistan who entered the double-figure with 15 runs against his name. Ahmad Khan took three wickets for Pakistan, Syed Zeeshan Zameer and Owais Ali took two wickets each.
