Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the tri-nation T20 tournament. In the match played in Christchurch, New Zealand, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 173 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted overs. Latin Das top scored for Bangladesh with 69 runs while Shakib Al Hasan played his turn with 68 runs. For Pakistan, Naseem Shah and Muhammad Wasim Jr got 2, 2 and Muhammad Nawaz got one out. Chasing the target of 174 runs, Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam opened the batting. Both made a partnership of 101 runs. Meanwhile, Babar Azam scored another half-century of his own.
