The left-handed player said that most of the cricketers in Pakistan are labeled as players of a certain format, but I want to end this impression on me.

Referring to Cricket Pakistan, Imam-ul-Haq said:

“In Pakistan, cricketers are usually labeled as players of a specific red ball or white-ball format.

According to Imam-ul-Haq, this should end because most players get frustrated when they are labeled as a player of a certain format:

“I am working hard on my power-hitting skills to make a place in the T20 squad and in franchise cricket as well,” he added.

Talking about the criticism leveled at him, Imam said that his uncle Inzamam-ul-Haq had suggested him to focus on sports. Imam-ul-Haq said that there was no doubt that as a cricketer I was faced with difficulties because I was born into a family of legends. But Inzamam-ul-Haq always advised me that a cricketer knows his own talents and abilities the most, so I always focused on hard work.
