Pakistan Squad for T20 series against England and the World T20

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the squad for the T20 series against England and the World T20. The team consists of 15 players while 3 reserve players have also been included. Muhammad Wasim, Chief Selector of the team in Lahore announced the team while holding a press conference.

The 15-player squad includes Babar Azam (captain), Shadab Khan (vice-captain), Asif Ali and Hyder Ali. Haris Rauf, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Rizwan (wicket keeper) and Mohammad Hasnain are included in the squad.

Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr., Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood and Usman Qadir have been included in the 15 players. Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris (wicketkeeper) and Shahnawazdhani will travel as travel reserves. Apart from Fakhar Zaman and Shaheen Shah Afridi, the selectors have included all the players announced for the T20 World Cup for the series against England. Fakhar Zaman is not available for England series due to knee problem. All-rounder Aamir Jamal and spinner Abrar Ahmed have also been included in the squad for the seven T20I matches against England.
