Batting first in Dubai, Pakistan scored 219 runs for eight wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. Captain Qasim Akram scored 50 runs. His innings included five fours. Haseebullah played 39 innings. Ayan Afzal Khan got three wickets from UAE, and Neelanish Keswani got two wickets.
UAE scored 198 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in pursuit of the target of 220 runs. Qasim Akram gave away 52 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. Qasim Akram, captain of the national under-19 cricket team, was declared man of the match for his all-rounder performance.
