PSL 7 Drafting Event 2021
Chairman PCB said that Arif Habib Group had announced a drop-in pitch for which MoU will be signed soon, but the value of two pitches will be more than Rs. 37 crore. The feature of drop-in pitches is that they can be moved from one place to another while they are used by many countries, including Australia and England. This is the first pick of Lahore Qalandars in the Platinum category, followed by Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators, respectively.
Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, and Peshawar Zalmi have retained their eight players while defending Multan Sultans, and Quetta Gladiators have owned seven and seven players, respectively. It should be noted that the edition of Pakistan Super League 7 will be held from January 27 to February 27 next year, which has been formally announced.
All 15 matches of the first phase of the event will be played in Karachi. While 19 games will be played in Lahore, and the event’s opening match will be played between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings.
